Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the independent developer who runs Numa, based in Spain. By using the Numa iOS app you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.

What Numa is — and is not

Numa is a calorie and nutrition tracker. It estimates calorie and macro targets from the profile you give it, keeps your diary, and offers optional intermittent-fasting timers.

Numa is not a medical service. Its targets and fasting phases are general estimates for healthy adults, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a doctor before changing your diet if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, have or have had an eating disorder, diabetes, or any condition affected by what and when you eat. If the app's suggestions ever conflict with advice from your doctor, follow your doctor.

Your account

An account is created for your device when you first use Numa; you can attach it to Sign in with Apple, Google or an email address to recover it later. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete the account and everything in it at any time from Profile → Settings, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Numa Pro

Numa's features are unlocked by Numa Pro, an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple to your Apple Account. For every plan, the price and the length of the period are shown in the app before you buy.

Fair use

Do not use Numa to break the law, to probe or overload its servers, to harass other people through its social features, or to pass its content off as your own. Accounts doing so can be suspended or closed.

Your content

Your diary, photos and measurements are yours. By putting them into Numa you give the service permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of running the app for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. If you report a wrong food, the correction may be applied to the shared food database for everyone.

Numa's content

The app, its mascot, artwork, recipes and food database belong to the developer or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's standard licence terms allow, and nothing more.

Warranty and liability

Numa is provided as it is. Calorie and nutrition figures — including figures read from barcodes and shared databases — are estimates and can be wrong; do not rely on them where accuracy matters medically. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions taken on the strength of the app's figures. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived, nor liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Numa at any time; deleting your account ends the agreement. The developer can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and can discontinue the service with reasonable notice, in which case any paid period is handled under Apple's refund rules.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it and any material change is announced in the app. Using Numa after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the consumer protections of the country you live in. For anything about them, write to alex28042@gmail.com.
